WHAT ARE THE AIMS OF THE COURSE IN REALISTIC TERMS OF BECOMING EITHER SELF-EMPLOYED OR WORKING FOR AN NGO?

The idea of the Diploma is to arm you with the tools you need to launch a social enterprise, organization or a social project. The capstone course, Entrepreneurship, Innovation and Social Change, guides you through the process of drafting a Social Enterprise Business Plan and provides you with concrete feedback on your project. Depending on how advanced your idea is and how much time you allocate to work on it during the course, the program will enable you to start your own organization. However, enrolling in this course does not (and cannot) guarantee that you would be able to start and manage the organization you thought of. It will however for sure give you a much better sense of the best way to bring it life (or improve it if you already have it) in addition to exploring best processes and practices for your particular venture.
