Reshma Aziz Khan is a Kenyan of Indian origin who was born and grew up in Nairobi. She did her undergraduate degree in Calgary, Canada. Over the past decade, Reshma has worked in development and humanitarian aid in many roles, including communications, leadership, strategy, and culture, and has led leadership and strategy workshops globally.

More recently, Reshma has been actively involved in inclusion work to ensure that large non-profits think and act on issues of race, diversity, gender equality, and other divisive factors. In 2020, Reshma set up her own leadership coaching and consultancy company K’enso Consulting, and collaborates with social impact leaders globally to work towards a more just world where it doesn’t matter what colour, religion, or gender anyone is.

In her own life, positive thought and being transformed her life and her purpose, and as a facilitator and guide, she hopes to support people looking to change the world to lean into their own positive potential by offering  a space for reflective learning, experimentation, and inclusive dialogue.

Reshma normally facilitates the first Positive Leadership live virtual course of the year in February or March.

Arthur Sherwood is the David Cole Professor of Entrepreneurship, Director of WWU’s Entrepreneurship & Innovation Programs.  He teaches and researches human-centered entrepreneurship and innovation education with a focus on well-being and coaching promoting flourishing practices for lifelong changemaking.  He is an experienced entrepreneur and certified executive coach and is actively engaged as co-founder of Reimagine by Design, LLC and member-owner of Columinate, a cooperatively owned consulting business.

Arthur normally facilitates the second iteration of the live virtual Positive Leadership course in September or October.

Beginning on September 24th, this live virtual workshop takes place over 6 weeks, with 1 session each week on Tuesdays from 12:00 pm- 2:00 am Eastern Time (New York). This will be complemented by readings, videos, and assignments in-between sessions as well, allowing you to delve deeper into the topics and put what you’ve learned into practice!

Each session will cover different key leadership concepts:

  1. Introduction and Overview of Leadership/ PERMA Model of Well-being
  2. Appreciative Inquiry/ Strengths-Based Leadership
  3. Identifying your ‘Why’?/ Conflict Styles and Relationships

$895 tuition rate for the 6-week live virtual workshop. A certificate is awarded upon completion by the Centre for Executive Education at the University for Peace, established by the General Assembly of the United Nations.
