Announcing the Hybrid Diploma in Social Innovation!

The University for Peace Centre for Executive Education is proud to announce a brand new Hybrid Diploma in Social Innovation.The Hybrid Diploma in Social Innovation is designed to provide changemakers with the necessary skills and structure to launch a social enterprise or organization, while also providing a platform for networking and inspiration in Costa Rica at the University for Peace. With a combination of face-to-face and online instruction, the program maximizes the learning experience for global changemakers.

Participants will begin the program by joining our face-to-face professional development seminar on Positive Leadership at the beautiful UPEACE campus. Hybrid Diploma students travel to Costa Rica for cultural immersion and to meet the founder of the UPEACE Centre and other important key players in the Diploma process. They will share the experience with like-minded professionals and learn the basics of founding innovative practices and positive mentality, both key concepts for the remainder of the Hybrid Diploma program.

After the on-site program in Costa Rica, participants will return to their homes and complete the remaining 4 online courses at their own pace over the course of the next 18 months. All will join the capstone course, Entrepreneurship, Innovation and Social Change, and then will then choose the remaining 3 courses from our catalog of electives based on needs and interest.

This program is perfect for busy professionals ready to take their careers to the next level, or for dreamers looking for the tools they need to make a positive impact in the world. Because of the flexible schedule and short on-site time frame, it can easily be completed while working a full-time job or juggling family responsibilities.
